Waiting...

What to do when dad is gone and you are waiting for him to come out of surgery?
Watch a movie and drink some apple juice.
I talked with the cardiothoracic surgeon and she said that the surgery went GREAT! They were able to take a quality piece of the pericardium to biopsy and Ryan has a drainage tube in to help with any remaining fluid they didn't get out.
So far all is well. Ryan is still in post op and we are waiting to hear any news of the liver biopsy...

you are doing an amazing job keeping us updated. Otherwise, I'd be calling constantly trying to get an update. Lucky for you, I can check this instead. I love that picture of Max. What a cutie!

That picture of cute Max brings tears to my eyes. He is so big! And this is such an ordeal for your kids too. We're all praying for your Papa, Max. You just keep sitting there looking cute!

Margie- this is my very close friend from High School, Justin Turley. We have been friends for 15 years! He started a foundation in his wifes honor, as she battled cancer last year & realized that young adults have a very different set of needs than the elderly & children... I don't know what you'll find here, but hopefully support. Love you! It was great seeing you yesterday! Love ya!
