Faith and MIRACLES...

I know so many of you are wondering how the appointment went on Monday...

I don't even know what to say to answer that question. To say it went well or good, would be a complete lie. I won't even bother with statistics... I will just outline what was said:

-There is NO cure at this point
The ONLY cure would have been a successful transplant, meaning no relapse of cancer...Ryan's was not successful.

So what are Ryan's options?

-Do nothing, let things take their course...

or

THIS IS WHERE THE MIRACLE WILL TAKE PLACE
-Start chemo to try and get the cancer under control. If they cannot get the cancer under control, the next step cannot happen. Once under control, Ryan could then get more of his brothers cells.

Those cells will then go in, beat the cancer and put Ryan into remission.

If the cancer then comes back again...it's back for good.

*

Ryan's counts are too low to start chemo now, so he goes back on Monday to check. If his counts are up, he will probably start chemo next week.

*

We are faithful and putting complete trust in the Lord.

THANK YOU ALL for the prayers...keep them coming!

***GO TEAM RYAN***

wow-what a lot to take in. I'm so sorry it's back. My heart breaks everytime I think about what you guys are going through. sometimes I feel upset that his original dr didn't seem to do his job but I keep having to remind myself that it's all in God's hands.
I hope that the chemo can do what it needs to and that transplant can happen again. If you need my liver or any other organs they are yours for the taking.
Love you Ry-we're praying and thinking of you!

Ryan you fight with everything the good Lord gave you! You fight for your wife, your beautiful kids and for yourself! You've shown us your strength before and will need to do it again! You have a great support group starting with Margie and the kids. Then there are the 2 sets of parents, along with friends! Our hearts are aching for you. The road will be long, but trust in God, sometimes you won't want to, but HE is the one Ryan! I still expect to see you in a few months here in Cali :-)

Ryan and Margie,

Keep fighting! I know it is easy for all of us to say because we are not in your shoes, but whatever happens the fight will be worth it. You are amazing people and I am so blessed to have you guys as friends, you have touched mine and my families lives in more ways than you will ever know. Don't get discouraged our Heavenly Father knows what he is doing. We are all praying for the best results and a miracle. Hang in there, and know that we all love you!

We are praying for you, Ryan and family! You can do it! Ryan, we wish we could lend you our physical strength to help you face chemo again, but we will pray with all our hearts that you'll feel the Savior's help and His strength--a much better strength--to help you get through this! And you will get through it! We love you!

I once heard, "Just because you've had misfortune in your past doesn't mean you have to give up on your future." Remember - Faith and Fear cannot exsist together. Don't lose hope. You have an army of friends fighting with you.

We love you both so much and this makes us so sad! Someone asked me the other day how long we'd known you, and when I responded, "almost 2 years" it felt weird because it truly feels like we've been your lifelong friends. That is one blessing from all of this that I don't think you'd get any other way- lifelong friends! You already know you are in our prayers, our children's prayers, and our thoughts everyday!

Heavenly Father took this away once, He can do it again. Please fight! We love you and we are praying for you. God works miracles, so keep handing this trial over to Him. Lots of prayers coming your way for faith to jump back in to this fight.

My heart just hurts! I am begging in my prayers for the miracle that we all want to see. I keep praying that you and all of your family will feel peace. That you will feel our Father guiding your every step. And that the doctors will all be guided. This is all do-able I think. Faith precedes the miracle and there are a whole lot of people with a whole lot of faith praying for you.
Love to your family,

I wish we could be there in AZ to help out physically any way possible. Giving hugs, high fives, a shoulder, an ear, playing with the kids, meals, whatever possible! I'm a "virtual neighbor" now--so my heart feels for you all and each prayer includes your family. We love you!

Go-I'm Andra Willis' sister. My heart broke for you this morning when I read this. My kids, entire family, and friends have been praying for you and have put Ryan's name in a few temples. Keep up the fight, I'm sure its easier said then done at times. You deserve a miracle & miracles do happen. Thank you for sharing your story with us. It helps me not to take those I love for granted. I pray you may be comforted at this time.
