It's time...

So last week Ryan had his Bone Marrow Biopsy and PET/CAT scan

and although he was sore from the biopsy, he still got out and tried to fit in as much as possible.

Went shooting with his Dad

Went to a car sales event to look around

... and was in HEAVEN.

He starts them young...

&
he even got in another trip to Madera Canyon

*********************

Well... on Friday we got some news.

Ryan is READY for transplant.

This last round of chemo really got the cancer under control. Ryan and his brother will go in for testing on Thursday and Friday of this week. They will then both meet with the transplant Dr on the 10th for another in-depth info meeting.

Then on Sept. 14th Ryan will be admitted to UMC to begin transplant, where he will spend the next 4-6 weeks.

Thank you ALL for your continued blessing and prayers. Please continue sending them his way and also for his Brother Mitchell- without him, this wouldn't be possible!

Much love to all!

WOW!!! That is awesome that they have Ryan's cancer under control enough to do the transplant. All the extra strength and energy will be an awesome blessing going into transplant. I suspect that someone is watching over you guys. :)

Sending big prayers to him and Mitchell!!!! And the rest of you, of course!

Maybe we should pick a day and have a big giant group fast. What do you think?

We wish you luck with the transplant and hope there aren't too many side effects. Chloe had some but was able to handle it like a champ, the hard part is staying in the room the 4 to 8 weeks until engraftment, sibling transplant engraft faster so good luck and you are in our prayers. We feel for you!!

Ryan you are looking great. I don't think you remember me but my husband is your cousin Cal. Watching what you are going through brings back many memories, both old and new since both Cal and I have gone through similar situations. Keep smiling. You are doing great.
I'm so glad you have Mitchell to be there for you. May all go well and you find yourself back home with your wife and beautiful kids soon. My thoughts and prayers are always with you and yours.

Just got an email from Mindy Burns. I am in the 2nd ward here in Sahuarita. Anyway, I am a survivor of lymphoma. I had non-Hodgkin B-cell lymphoma, 14 yrs ago. I know some of what you are going through. I didn't have to do a bone marrow transplant though. You and your family will be in my prayers! The one thing I learned during my experience is that Heavenly Father does support us. I often received strength that I physically did not have. Keep up the fight!
