Goings Ons...

This week has been full of Dr's appointments, blood draws, cat scans and MORE Dr's appointments. You would think that when you leave the hospital you have some "time off," but really, it is never ending.

So whats the plan for this NEXT week?

a lil' bit of CHEMO
(starting bright and early Monday morn)
&
a lil' bit of SURGERY
(Ryan is scheduled to get the Ommaya Reservoir placed on Tuesday)
Ryan had a rough beginning of the week, but as the week progressed, he looked and felt GREAT.
He is in really good spirits and ready to start this next round.
***
Hugs to everyone for ALL the love and support.

I know this week has been crazy for you and the whole family- hang in there! Thanks for keeping everyone informed!!! My mom said that she didn't even look at Ryan's shaved head because she was so busy looking at his amazing eyes! :) I agree! We're in love with your hubbie's eyes- hope that's ok with you :) Enjoy a peaceful Sunday- we're hoping we can stop by and say hi tomorrow.

We went to Carol Beach today and man, we MISSED you guys! We were talking about that time the guys caught the frogs in that stream, which today was a HUGE, deep pool that Jared just had to mess with. He wanted to re-direct it, so we dammed it up in one spot, and dug a new outlet for it--I don't know why.

Sounds like you didn't get to rest up much this past week, but hopefully this second round won't come with the never-ending fever! We'll be praying that it will go smoothly! Love you!

Margie, I admire your strength! You and your sweet husband and darling children have a very special purpose in this life! What a challenging and difficult test you are having to endure. Thank you for updating us and know we love you and think about you daily. What a treat to meet you all at Mindy's house and share some precious time with you. You are loved!

I hope the surgery went well and that Ryan gets more time at home in between hospital visits this time. Keep smiling...that heals!
