Happy Valentines Day Margie!

Wow, what a year for us! Tomorrow makes 1 year since I first started to feel sick. (it took 3 and 1/2 months before I was diagnosed.) Throughout this time Margie has stood by me and tried to makes things as easy as possible for me. I know that many of these days she must have felt like a single mom with an extra kid, but she just kept going and has always remained positive which has helped me through this and has given me hope. Back in 2007 I was spending a month in Colorado for one of my school rotations working at the VA hospital in Denver. Margie's birthday was that month and I couldn't be with her and the kids so I made her a little slideshow of some of my favorite pictures and memories from our marriage. I've decided to share it with everyone and to publicly thank Margie again for being such a great wife and my best friend. The song that plays along has always meant a lot to me and the version used in this show was recorded by two of my friends that I met while in podiatry school back in Kenosha. Thanks for sharing your great musical talent Matt and JJ! Hope you like it!

What a year Ryan! Margie really is the best, isn't she? I imagine that slide show means even more now than when you first made it.

I LOVE that song too. I had never heard Matt and JJ's version. They are so talented. I think it is so COOL that even cancer is now a "remember when"!!!!

What a beautiful life you have. I hope you guys have a great Valentine's Day and that Margie wears her "flannel pajamas". HA,HA!

Awesome! I love the little pictures of bald Max- he looks just like the picture of you in your blog widget! :) I also like the line in the song, "Remember when...30 seemed so old....." It does seem old- that's you tomorrow Ryan and me next month!!! We're old! :) You have the cutest family and I adoooooore all of you....I'm glad I got to see a few pics of Margie when she was pregnant- don't know if I'd ever get a chance to see her like that without this video...I'm sure she loves that you posted them on here for the whole world to see...but if we can see pics of you having a spinal and being sicker than a dog then yay for getting to see her pregnant!

That is so precious! That's still how big your kids are in my mind, so that's fun to see those "old" pix again! That song is awesome--it's the one I picked for our wedding slideshow that showed at our receptions. Love, love, love it!

A little story to go along with yours Ryan is that my grandparents were celebrating their 50th anniversary the year that Matt and JJ recorded that song. SO it is very special to me too! My mom asked if Matt could re-record the Alan Jackson song "Remember When" as a "cleaner" version and then sing it at their 50th Anniversary celebration that July! Matt did with the help of JJ and my mom ALSO put it along with a slideshow of my grandparents life together along with their 10 kids! I am excited and proud to know that my husbands talent was able to touch peoples lives like it has! WE are SO HAPPY that your life has been as wonderful as it has been since you met Margie! It looked like you had a GREAT CHILDHOOD too! Best Wishes to you and Margie. Love, the Kindle Family
